Project Win

A very positive start to the New Year with several prestigious projects secured, new team members to compliment our existing resource and a veritable buzz about the office!

Over the coming weeks we will be bringing you further news of exciting projects secured, our skilled works progressing, our very well received lunch & learn sessions as well as other Company & team news. This year also marks the 10th anniversary of Restore London and a year of celebration, development & reflection on all we have achieved. Bring on 2022!

The first of these updates sees Restore London delighted to have been appointed as Specialist Façade Contractor on the prestigious redevelopment scheme of the Grade II listed Arding & Hobbs building.

Working with Principal Contractor Knight Harwood Restore London’s works will include the careful restoration of the existing façades, brick and stone cleaning, along with specialist refurbishment of the copper cupola roof.

The overall development will create flexible retail and leisure spaces across the ground and basement floors and introduce modern office space to the upper floors with a new rooftop extension to crown the building.

We look forward to our specialist contribution to this project and working with the Knight Harwood delivery team to give this historic and much loved, iconic building a new lease of life.

““Restore London brought a level of quality craftsmanship and skill that is rare in today’s construction market. They worked collaboratively, bringing their wealth of knowledge to every detail. Their contribution to the National Portrait Gallery can be seen wherever you look in the project.” ”

“It was a pleasure working with the Restore London team. They showed good team spirit coupled by a highly pro-active approach to problem solving & were able to resource the project during unforeseen circumstances, such as the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth II. The quality of their workmanship was excellent. ”

““Restore London made our specified repairs so that they are almost invisible when viewing the room as a whole but are sufficiently different that an educated viewer could see where the mosaic had experienced areas of change when looking in detail. Perfect!” ”
