Royal Herbert Pavilions

Originally constructed in 1866 after Florence Nightingale’s zealous campaign for health reforms, The Royal Herbert Hospital, set in over 19 acres of land, was constructed for the Woolwich Garrison as a monument to her.

Named after Sidney Herbert, the War Secretary of the day, the decorous frontage in Italianate architectural style is now home to luxury apartments. Restore London Ltd have proudly carried out critical repairs & restoration works to the buildings including roof coverings, chimney stacks, decorative features, brickwork & window refurbishment / decorations all to a very high standard.

In addition, RLL successfully delivered the scheme which also featured extensive alarmed scaffolding areas, installation of new flood lighting & specialist liquid applied waterproofing to the flat roof areas.
