Restore London works to the Grade II listed Walworth Town Hall included external façade cleaning, restoration and adaptation works as part of the wider regeneration scheme. The project sought to celebrate the existing architectural details through sensitive restoration and sympathetic adaption works in keeping with the original character of the building. Our specialists expertly restored the original terrazzo and stone floors which had previously been latexed and grouted, bringing these details back to life. New Portland stone entrance steps and landings were installed by our team providing access to the new café entrance and disabled access clad in new Portland stone to match. External brickwork and stone has been cleaned and restored. The scheme provides a fantastic new community space and we are proud to have contributed to the restoration and architectural salvage of some many features of this South London Landmark.
