9 Carmelite Street External Works

Restore London were appointed as Principal Contractor on this extensive refurbishment project of the Grade II Listed No.9 Carmelite Street.  External works included complicated scaffold design & erection, masonry & brickwork cleaning & restoration, new Welsh slate roof & glazed brickwork repairs. Original worn lead was replaced with new Code 7 and 8 lead work, including all new box gutters, dormer surrounds, ridge, step flashings and cornices. Five new dormer window structures were constructed, a new fire escape and new roof light also entirely rebuilt.  A whole new lightning conductor scheme, fall arrest system & fire escapes were also installed. Our site management team were deployed here for the duration of the project overseeing our internal and external works and managing cost, programme, H&S best practice as well as overseeing delivery by our trusted supply chain.
